Wayback when during the Internet v1.1 (this post was originally drafted May 14, 2008, fwiw), some British-speaking dude named Ben “Yahtzee” Croshaw released a review of Grand Theft Auto IV (has it really been 7+ years since then?) under his label Zero Punctuation – named so because as you’ll find out he barely stops talking even to take a breath.
Of course GTA IV (and before it GTA III, really) ushered in this era of possibly doing nothing in-game if the player wanted. I mean you could literally sit on your couch and watch television if you wanted (I usually drove around listening to Chatterbox back when I played games…). And so the Zero Punctuation review of GTA IV is pretty spot on in this regard:
