eCalc is a website that has multiple battery calculators for many remote controlled aircrafts including airplanes (propCalc), helicopters (heliCalc), and multirotor (i.e. ‘drone’) designs. And specifically on the multirotor calculator – xcopterCalc – tutorial is this line about “normal” battery charge states, described as:
4. Battery
What battery type you intend to use?
Most probably you are going to use bettery packs you have already.
Define a adequate battery and there configuration. The charge state (full, normal, low) is only used to evaluate self-mesured peak values with fully charged batteries. For mean values use “normal”.
When using customized batteries be remined the data have to be entered per cell (not per pack!).
There you have it – just use “normal” [their quotes too!].
