Not my words. Rather the demur of the prosecutor in this scene from David Lynch’s Twin Peaks, season 2 episode 5, during the pre-trial of Leo Johnson who is currently in a vegetative state, which the defense argues makes him unfit to be tried, lacking what is referred to as “normal brain activity.”
